    A Priceless Birth Experience

From our initial consultation, you can expect a nurturing rapport and personalized care plan tailored to your birthing goals. As labor begins, I’ll be your continuous source of encouragement and expertise – seamlessly supporting you and your partner with comfort measures, positioning guidance, and a calm certitude to follow your body’s intuition.

After your baby’s arrival, I’ll remain by your side capturing those first eternal moments and providing initial breastfeeding support. You can lean on my continued guidance through the postpartum “fourth trimester” and processing of your birth story.  My role is honoring your birthing journey every step of the way.

Stacey was a wonderful doula, coach, and support during my pregnancy with our first child, Julia. My husband and I planned to have an unmedicated birth and received a lot of good advice and resources from Stacey. Her calm reassuring presence helped me get through entire 22+ hour labor.

Thank you so much Stacey for EVERYTHING; I can’t express what your support has meant to me and how much you have helped me with!!! I hope that sharing my experience brings other moms to you because I can honestly say that I had an incredible birth experience and I owe that to you.

Ready to Rest and Connect With Your Newborn

I really appreciated Stacey’s support for my last months of pregnancy and labor. I am also a doula, and so I knew I wanted that personal support for me and my husband for our first birth, in addition to the hospital staff. I recommend her as a capable and kind doula, and a lovely person.

Having Stacey as part of our birth team was a blessing! She was so supportive and helped us have an incredible birthing experience. We will definitely have her involved in any future babies!

    Stephanie

Honestly what helped me get through labor was 1st her words of encouragement! Telling me I could do it, that I am strong, that I was doing so good! Other things that she did that helped me so much were offering to get movement in/switch positions, cooling me down with the fan, and playing with my hair.

Having her there gave my husband and I the peace of mind to be able to just be present with everything during labor. I wasn’t worrying about what do we do now or next? She let me know what was going on around me, helped me move around, provided suggestions what my husband can do to help, gave positive affirmations.

Stacey provided resources to let me know what my rights are when it comes to birth and labor in a hospital setting, what options I have in labor, what might be presented to me in labor and how it could potentially have other effects. She provided handouts for what to expect in labor and about newborns. I was able to call or text her with any questions! Anything she helped answer for me was always provided with a reference of where I can find this information myself too.

Frequently Asked Questions About Doula Support

How do you handle multiples or premature babies?

My training covers all areas of specialty newborn care. I have extensive experience with premature infants, adjusting techniques for their unique needs. And I’m well-versed in caring for multiples – twins, triplets or more. Rest assured, your little ones will receive expert, individualized nurturing.

Do you provide any coaching on routines and schedules?

Absolutely. Establishing healthy routines during those first weeks is crucial for infant development and your family’s adjustment. I’ll guide you through optimal feeding, wake windows, and sleep suggestions tailored to your newborn’s needs. My goal is equipping you with confidence.

What if my baby has special medical needs?

I am trained in caring for newborns with special medical considerations like reflux, colic, tongue/lip tie, and more. We’ll discuss your baby’s unique needs in-depth beforehand so I can augment my care plan accordingly. Your baby’s health and comfort is the top priority.

When should I hire a doula?

It’s recommended to hire a doula early in your pregnancy to benefit from their prenatal support, but it’s never too late to seek doula services. Even if you’re close to your due date, a doula can still provide valuable support during labor and delivery.

Do doulas only support natural childbirth?

Doulas support individuals and couples regardless of their birth preferences, whether it’s a natural birth, medicated birth, cesarean birth, or any other birthing method. Their role is to support the birthing person’s choices and provide comfort and advocacy throughout the process.
