Educating!! Stacey, helped relieve any anxiety I had about birthing by giving me all options, providing resources to educate me on my decisions and any possible decisions I could have to make during labor. We had our plan A, but also a plan b and c because birth is unpredictable.

Frequently Asked Questions
I'm planning to breastfeed. How can you support me with that?
With years of hands-on breastfeeding support and breastfeeding my own four children, I provide guidance on everything from latch techniques to increasing milk supply. I’m well-versed in solving common challenges and can recommend renowned board certified lactation consultants if needed.
How do you ensure our comfort level with someone caring for our newborn?
Building a nurturing rapport is so important. We have an in-home meeting as well as a tour of your home before any services begin to discuss all your preferences. I can provide numerous references from past clients upon request so you can hear firsthand about the nurturing, trustworthy care I provide. I will listen intently to your needs and together we will create a customized care plan you feel completely comfortable and confident about. Your total peace of mind is paramount.
What if we need support earlier/later than planned?
In most cases, earlier arrivals or extended postnatal care can be accommodated thanks to built-in buffers between my appointments. This entire experience is quite fluid, so I aim to be as flexible as possible when your needs shift unexpectedly. While I can’t guarantee 100% availability, I’ll make every effort to rework my schedule and be there for you, whether you need to start services sooner or require an extended nurturing embrace.
How do you handle differences in parenting philosophies?
I come to every family with zero judgment and a supportive open mind. Whether you want an unmedicated or medicated birth or to breastfeed or formula feed, your choices and parenting style are fully respected and supported. My role is a nurturing guide, not a rigid instructor.
We have other children - can you help with them too?
Absolutely! Siblings can sometimes feel unsettled with a newborn’s arrival. I’m happy to engage your older children with activities and care so they feel included and your family’s transition is seamless. Their adjustment is important too.
