Anger surfaces from repressed emotions. Most of us have never been encouraged to express our feelings and haven’t been given the tools to process our pain. Big shifts take place if we are aware of what’s suppressed inside us and we choose the courage to heal. It might not be easy, but we all have the power within us to shift and create meaningful and fulfilling lives. Reaching out to others and through various holistic practices is helping me to understand myself. Massage therapy, chiropractic care, Reiki, journaling, affirmations, meditating, books, sister circles, and yoga has been powerful for me, assisting me in shifting my energy in a positive new direction! I’ve also been using some of these practices with my kids and although they want to fight it at times (cause who really likes change in the beginning), I know it is powerful stuff and is helping them learn to understand and develop compassion for themselves and others. ❤️
